Trust His Heart

A friend recently sent a link to the song Trust His Heart. I first sang this song 8 years ago and the song had been an encouragement when I was a young Christian back then.

Again, I have been reminded through the song lyrics that God works wondrously in ways that I cannot fathom. You can check out the song in the attached link.

All things work for our good
Though sometimes we can't see how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth

Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when you pathway grows dim
And you just can't see Him
Remember He's still on the throne

*
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
TRUST HIS HEART

He sees the master plan
He holds the future in His hand
So don;t live as though you have no hope
All our hope is found in Him

He walks in presence light
He sees the first and the last
And like the tapestry
He's weaving you and me
To someday be just like Him

Repeat *

He alone is faithful and true
He alone know what's best for you
Repeat *

Priorities, Planning and Paperwork - A Good Read

I recently borrowed a book from Siew Ean and that book had been sitting in my book shelf for the past 6 months!! Anyway, I am glad that I finally finished it and thought it would be cool to share a book review :-)

The book was written by Peter Brierley and he did a good explanation on setting goals and priorities. He also shared on techniques for planning, paperwork and time management. I know, I know, this sounded a lil bit dry but believe me, it is a practical book to lay your hands on.

Would like to share a poem found at the end of the book. Thought it is appropriate, in line with the message found in the book.

GOD - PEOPLE - WORK

Take time

Take time to think
It is the source of power
Take time to play
It is the source of perpetual youth
Take time to pray
It is the greatest power on earth
Take time to love and be loved
It is a God-given privilege
Take time to be friendly
It is the road to happiness
Take time to laugh
It is the music of the soul
Take time to give
It is too short a day to be selfish
Take time to work
It is the price of success.
